MAKNA LABEL HALAL INDONESIA DALAM PERSPEKTIF SEMIOTIKA: ANALISIS SEMIOTIKA ROLAND BARTHES

The Ministry of Religion the Republic Indonesia, through its official website and Instagram account in March 2022, established released "Indonesian Halal Label" logo. release Indonesian Label logo by received various responses views even sparked disagreements cross-opinions from groups. Against background polemics controversies about new design logo, this research will reveal meaning a semiotic perspective. This was conducted to explain more deeply: (1) Denotation Meaning Label; (2) Connotation Label. uses analysis method. concepts theories used are based on Roland Barthes' semiotics sign. Based results discussion, there two main findings study, namely: Semiotically, has denotative which means information written description word "Halal" Arabic, is presented pictures resembling mountains, as well words Halal" explicitly language writing with using bold capita fonts; Semiotics, Hala connotative closeness between Muslim Allah, faith, simplicity, wisdom, balance, unity, serenity distinction good (haq) wrong (bathil). Abstrak Kementerian Agama Republik Indonesia melalui dan akun instagram resminya pada Maret 2022 menetapkan merilis “Label Indonesia”. Perilisan oleh tersebut mendapatkan berbagai respon pandangan bahkan memicu perdebatan silang pendapat dari kalangan. Berlatar belakang polemik kontroversi desain baru tersebut, maka penelitian ini akan mencoba untuk mengungkap makna perspektif semiotika. Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan dapat memaparkan lebih dalam tentang: Makna Denotasi Indonesia; Konotasi Indonesia. menggunakan metode analisis Konsep teori semiotika yang digunakan berlandaskan Barthes tentang sebuah tanda. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan, ada dua temuan utama ini, yaitu: Secara semiotik memiliki denotasi berarti suatu informasi keterangan tulisan kata “Halal” bahasa Arab disajikan gambar menyerupai gunungan, serta “Halal Indonesia” secara eksplisit jelas berbahasa jenis huruf tebal (bold) kapita; konotasi kedekatan antara seorang muslim Allah swt, keimanan, kesederhanaan, kebijaksanaan, keseimbangan, kesatuan, ketenangan pembeda baik buruk
